WordPress Developer

I build WordPress websites from a design, as custom themes or in Elementor, so the site loads fast, your team can edit every page and the details of the design reach the live site.

What I build

The WordPress work people hire me for

I think a WordPress site is only finished when the people who run it can change it without breaking it, so I build every page with the editor in mind as much as the visitor.

Custom themes

A theme written for your design and nothing else, so the pages load fast and every part of the site is there for a reason.

Elementor builds

Sites built in Elementor with global styles and saved templates, for teams which would like to change layouts themselves.

Figma to WordPress

Your designer's Figma file built page by page, and checked against the design on desktop, tablet and phone before you see it.

Fields your team edits

Case studies, team members, locations and other repeating content edited in plain fields, with the layout kept safe.

Speed and search basics

Images, fonts and scripts set up for a fast first load, with Yoast, redirects and page titles in place on launch day.

Changes after launch

New pages, sections and updates after the launch, so the site keeps up with the business once your team starts using it.

How I work

I build from the design,
and I test on the phones your customers use.

I think the build should keep every detail which the design agreed on,
so I check each page against the file before you do.

Four stages / two to six weeks

Stage / 01

We start with the design and a call about who edits the site, what they change most often and what the site connects to, so the build fits the way your team works.

Stage / 02

Then I plan the build, a custom theme or Elementor, the fields each page needs and the plugins, and I keep that list short, since every plugin is one more thing to update.

Stage / 03

I build the pages on a staging site which you can click through, check them against the design on desktop and phone, and your comments go into one list.

Stage / 04

I launch with the redirects, the page titles and a speed check, and I hand your team a short video on editing the pages, then I stay on hand for the first weeks.

Working with me

A developer who designs, so the build keeps the details

I think most WordPress builds drift from their design in the small things, the spacing, the states and the phone layout, and since I design websites myself I catch those before your client does, while the theme I write stays simple enough for the next developer to read.

  • Custom themes, or Elementor when your team would like to edit layouts
  • Every page checked on real phones before the launch
  • Content edited in plain fields, with the layout kept safe
  • A short video and notes on editing and updating the site

Common questions

Before you hire a WordPress developer

What does a WordPress developer do?

A WordPress developer turns a design into a working website, which means writing the theme or building the pages in a builder like Elementor, setting up the fields your team edits and the plugins the site needs, and making sure it loads fast and stays easy to update.

Do you build custom themes or use Elementor?

Both, and I would choose with you based on who edits the site after the launch, since a custom theme keeps the pages fast and the layout safe while Elementor lets your team change layouts themselves, which I compare in WordPress vs custom code.

Can you build from our designer's Figma file?

Yes, most of my builds start from a Figma file, mine or another designer's, and I check each page against it on desktop, tablet and phone before you see it.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes, mostly with marketing agencies which need a developer who reads design files closely, so I work inside their process and their timelines, and their team keeps the relationship with their client.

How long does a WordPress build take?

A company website takes two to six weeks once the design and the words are ready, depending mostly on how many different page layouts it has, as I explain in how long a website takes to build.

How much does it cost to hire you?

I quote each build after seeing the design, since the number depends mostly on how many different page layouts the site has and what it connects to, and what a custom website costs in 2026 explains where the money goes.

Do you look after sites after the launch?

Yes, I can stay on for updates and new pages after the launch, or I can hand the site to your team with notes and a short video on editing it.

Hire the WordPress developer who designs too, and the finished site keeps every detail of the design.

Send me the design, or a link to the site which you would like rebuilt, and it comes straight to me, so I can reply with how I would build it, what it would cost and how long it would take.
