Web Designer

I design websites for businesses and the agencies who bring me in, and I build them too, so one person takes your site from the first call to the launch.

What I design

The websites people hire me for

I design each one around the people who will read it, so every page answers what they came to check and leads them to the one action which matters most to the business.

Company websites

The main site of a business, planned so a first-time visitor understands what you do in a few seconds and finds the reasons to trust you as they scroll.

Landing pages

One page for one campaign or offer, built around a single action, which I would rather keep short and specific than long and general.

Redesigns

A site which has grown untidy over the years receives a clearer structure and a new look, while the pages which already rank keep their addresses and their traffic.

Shops and brand sites

Collections and product pages which carry the brand's tone, with the details a shopper checks before buying placed right next to the button which adds it to the cart.

Websites for agencies

Agencies bring me in to design and build websites for their clients, and I work inside their process, their deadlines and their rounds of review.

Designs for your developers

When your own team builds the site, you receive a Figma file with every page for desktop and phone, the components in all their states and notes on how each part behaves.

How I work

I listen to the business first,
and then I design the website.

I think a website is mostly finished in the planning,
long before anyone opens a design tool.

Four stages / four to six weeks

Stage / 01

We start with a call about who the website is for, what they compare you with and what a good enquiry looks like, and I write it all down so we agree on it before anything is drawn.

Stage / 02

Then I plan the pages and the order of what each one says, and we write the words together, since the facts which persuade your customers mostly live in your team's heads.

Stage / 03

I design every page for desktop and phone in one shared Figma file, and your comments from each round go into a single list, so nothing is lost between rounds.

Stage / 04

I build the approved design in WordPress or Elementor, test it on real phones and launch it with the redirects, the page titles and the search basics in place.

Working with me

One person from the first call to the launch

I think a website loses most of its detail in the handoffs, from the person who hears the brief to the one who designs it and then the one who builds it, so on my projects you talk to me at every step, and the person who designs your pages is the one who builds them.

  • You explain the business once, to the person doing the work
  • Each round of feedback goes into one list in a shared Figma file
  • The finished site matches the approved design, since one person made both
  • After the launch your team can edit the pages in WordPress or Elementor

Common questions

Before you hire a web designer

What does a web designer do?

A web designer works out what a website needs to say and how it should look and behave, from the structure of the pages and the words on them to the layout on every screen size, and on my projects that work ends with a website which I build as well.

Do you build the websites you design?

Yes, I build them as custom WordPress themes or in Elementor, and I would choose between them with you based on who edits the site after the launch and what it needs to connect to, which custom WordPress development covers in more detail.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes, mostly with marketing agencies which need a web designer who can also build, so I work inside their process and their timelines, and their team keeps the relationship with their client.

What do you need from us to start?

A link to the website which you have now, two or three sites which you like and why, and a rough idea of the pages and the deadline are enough for me to reply with a plan and a quote.

How long does it take to design a website?

Most company websites take four to six weeks from the first call to the launch once the content is ready, and a landing page takes one to three weeks, although I think your content and your feedback set the pace more than the design does, as I explain in how long a website takes to build.

How much does it cost to hire you?

I quote each project after reading the brief, since the number depends mostly on how many different page layouts the website needs and whether the words are ready, and what a custom website costs in 2026 explains where the money goes.

Do you work with teams outside the Philippines?

Yes, I work from GMT+8 with teams in the US, Australia and Asia, with a regular overlap for calls, reviews in a shared Figma file and every decision kept in writing.

    Julien R. Founder, Hire Donna

Hire the web designer who builds the website too, and every detail you agreed on reaches the finished site.

Send me a link to the website which you have now, or a short brief for the one you need, and it comes straight to me, so I can reply with what I would change first, what it would cost and how long it would take.
