Audit. The pages that bring visitors, the ones that load slowly, and the plugins the site could live without.
Step / 02
Design. The same pages tightened up for desktop and mobile, reviewed one consolidated round at a time.
Step / 03
Rebuild. A custom theme written page by page, with the content moved across and every old address mapped.
Step / 04
Switch over. Redirects live, speed measured against the old site, and the handover walked through together.
What it costs
A rebuild mostly costs less than a new site when the content moves across as it is, and I quote it from how many page layouts need rewriting, with hosting and the domain as separate costs.
